Everyone is welcome to share an experience with meditation or worship from the past week.
I had a wonderful experience with worship on Sunday. We visited a small church where the children join with the adults in the first part of worship, then leave after the children's sermon. This gave me an opportunity to see worship through my 2-year-old's eyes. She was completely tuned in the whole time, though she can't have understood most of what was going on. During the congregational prayer, people were invited to come forward and kneel if they wanted. When she saw this, she jumped up and said, "Let's go, mommmy," and started up the aisle. What else could I do? We walked to the front, I kneeled and she sat on the kneeler, she bowed her head and we prayed. It was all a big lesson in worship to me. Even with her limited understanding, she participated fully in worship and was excited to do so. How could I do less?
